Mission

Oregon Credit Union Foundation

To promote and improve financial independence through the credit union movement. The Oregon Credit Union Foundation engages in several philanthropic activities, including consumer financial education projects, professional development awards, small credit union development grants, international development grants, and support of the Credit Unions for Kids fund-raising efforts and disaster relief grants.

The Oregon Credit Union Foundation’s funding priorities are: Consumer Education OCUF supports and has grant funds available for credit unions conducting youth, member, and/or consumer financial education projects. Professional Development OCUF supports and has grant funds available for credit union staff/volunteer professional development. Small Credit Union Development OCUF supports and has grant funds available for credit unions $35 million in assets or under. International Development OCUF supports the World Council of Credit Unions and Oregon’s partnership with the Uzbekistan credit union movement. Disaster Relief OCUF supports and has funds available for credit unions in need of disaster relief.

Board of Directors

For a list of the current board of directors, click here. CU Aid is a national online giving center for credit unions. All cuaid.coop contributions are directed to the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) Disaster Relief Fund. In times of disaster, the NCUF raises and distributes funds to aid the affected region of the credit union movement including credit unions, leagues and other credit union organizations.
